Securing your Interval apps with MFA

Happy Friday! This week we added another layer of security to Interval with multi-factor authentication and shipped Interval SDK v0.26.0, which adds a redirect method for actions as well as a new option for customizing tables. Here's a breakdown of what's new:

🔐 Multi-factor authentication

Interval now supports multi-factor authentication (MFA), also known as two-factor authentication, for added account security. MFA can be enabled for individual user accounts and can optionally be enforced for everyone in your organization. Visit the docs to learn how to turn on MFA for your account.

🚀 Interval SDK v0.26.0

SDK v0.26.0 is hot off the press with two new updates:

  • ctx.redirect() redirects the user to another action or an external URL in their current browser window.
  • defaultPageSize is a new property on io.display.table and io.select.table that customizes the default number of items shown on each page.

Dan from the engineering team shared his Spotify playlist generator this week, an Interval action which uses the Spotify API to generate "time capsule" playlists containing your Spotify likes from any given month, and ctx.redirect() to seamlessly authenticate users with Spotify using OAuth. Check out the code to try out the action for yourself. 🎵

That's all for this week! If you haven't started building with Interval yet, create a free account and start building in minutes, or book a call with our team to learn more about building with Interval.
